In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Yes it is, and it’s amazing how often I find myself bristling at the truth- even though I *know* it’s true and I know it’s for our good. I pray God will continue to shine the light on the dark places of our lives, even though I scramble to cover them up. I pray that He will show me how flimsy my excuses are and reveal to me the lies I tell myself.

Great BeckyJ…why don’t you just set the bar really, really high?
Serioiusly though, I’m with you…I really don’t have to believe the lies of the world…I’m quite good at coming up with my own.

This overflows in all rhelms of our lives, not only as ambassadors of the One True King, but in the kingdom of our hearts (as pointed out by BeckyJ). It stinks of pride - not wanting to be wrong; cowardess - worried about being liked or causing offense. But all this occurs in the deep recesses of the heart, you know down with the giant squid.
Gotta remember: Does God see all things? Yes, nothing can be hid from God.
Thank Him for Glorious Light….

Robert- good job throwing giant squid in there on the sly! (high five)
Isn’t it comforting and…cleansing to know that nothing can be hid from God?
